SummerFire is hosted at beautiful Camp Cherokee and set in the picturesque mountains of Cherokee National Forest on Parksville Lake.
Camp Cherokee is a 50 acre rustic setting with 3 closed cabins, 16 open-air cabins, large pavilion and dining hall, industrial kitchen and sports play areas. A vision of former pastor Marvin Gibson and the First Baptist Cleveland church family, Camp Cherokee became a part of First Baptist Cleveland in 1977. It has become a dearly loved place for meeting with The Lord right in His creation.
Each year, Camp Cherokee hosts church groups from across the southeast, as well as Family reunions and overnight stays. It is a seasonal camp available between May and October.
The emergency phone number is located in the Dining Hall and Kitchen: 423.338.5186
